This series of photos is part of MIYA’s SS25 capsule collection, shot in a private garden at a residence in Empoli. Can you believe the forecast said it’d be cloudy that day? Sure, there were moments when the sky was packed with clouds, but the Tuscan sun still came through bright and strong.
The objective of this photoshoot was to highlight an organic feeling that I felt resonated with the garments’ material. During the shoot, I encouraged the model, Matilde, to tap into her happy self, which led to a lot of twirling and running around. That energy made the photoshoot feel light, fun, and natural. There were also a few quieter, static poses, but I played with perspective, the surroundings, and the sunlight to keep the images dynamic.
