This was actually one of the most challenging photoshoots I’ve done so far. I won’t go into details, but there was definitely a lack of communication about the project that led to more problems. I was young and a newbie back then. But hey, we learn from mistakes, and in the end some of the photos still got featured in not just one, but two magazines. Yaayyy!
I honestly can’t recall much from the pre-production side of this project, but post-production took up a lot of time. This shoot was a collaboration with Luna Huang Hexin, a Polimoda graduate.
We worked in Polimoda’s photo studio with a simple white background and two LED panels. I placed one light slightly diagonal in front of the model and another aimed at the background. I set that background light to a cooler tone, creating a subtle blue hue that I later pushed further in post-production.
