David Catalàn SS26 runway

David Catalán’s SS26 collection opened with a runway full of movement, texture, and sound (literally). The sound of small bells attached to garments and every pair of socks echoed through the space with every step, adding rhythm to the show and making the whole experience feel lively. The collection leaned into a youthful, free-spirited vibe with relaxed tailoring, colorful shades, and playful accessories — like a cluster of bells that looks like a purse.

Now, I’ll start with the tea 🍵 if you may, or more like a rant, or a complaint. Because who in their right mind brings their child to a goddamn runway show and lets him sit on the floor right where the model walks? That kid, and another guy who came in literally two minutes before the show started, were in EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of my shots ☠️ not only mine, all the photographers standing in my podium sure is going to have their photos decorated with those two.

EVERY SINGLE ONE 🥲 Look, I might look petty for doing this but hey, this is my struggle as a newbie in runway photography, and I made a blog so I have a voice because I always have things to say. I can only pour out my feelings and hope for a better spot next time 🤞

Photoshop’s AI removal isn’t a perfect solution if you’re curious. So yeah, here’s the gallery of the runway.

P.S.: You might be curious why there are two pictures with different background. That’s because I switched angle to avoid the distractions, but after a few shots, I realized that that angle is no good either because the models come and go at that intersection.
