Miguel Vieira’s SS26 collection, A Night In The Garden, brought a sleek and moody energy to Milan Fashion Week. Dominated by black, the whole collection felt like an ode to the elegance of nighttime. There were floral details here and there, but everything stayed minimal, polished, and refined.
Although the collection leans towards minimal, Miguel Vieira plays with texture in a way that makes everything feel mysterious and sensual. There were paillettes and sequins catching the light, satin ribbons mimicking fringe on the dresses, tiny laser-cut leather, and tufted fabrics. As the models strut down the runway, I notice that the lining of some of the suits are actually colorful floral prints a detail that ties everything back to the “Night in the Garden” theme. It’s subtle, unexpected, and adds a kind of hidden softness to the otherwise sleek and moody looks. Nothing too loud or flashy, just textures and sharp tailoring and sensuality from the exposed torsos.

This collection really speaks for itself. Now before jumping into the gallery of runway photos, I wanna show you some backstage moments. Always exciting despite the pressure and chaos.

Among the runway models was the multi-talented Raul Murakami, who walked with a cool, effortless sophistication. He wore two looks: one was a silver sequin top paired with black trousers, and the other was a tufted jacket with a giant flower appliqué on the left chest, styled with a shiny pair of black trousers.
